OUR OPINION
Flexible transport solutions
We have been waiting for a compact front loader for a few years. In our experience, a front loader is quite restrictive for a city like Porto. Small roads, no cycling infrastructure, and most of the time, we need to drive a bit on the sidewalks to save time and not get stuck in traffic. All of these are harder on a front loader than on a longtail.
We have been using it daily since July to be able to give our official opinion, but so far, what we have learned is that kids love it and are happier in the front than in the back.
Of course, adapting to the new riding experience involves a learning curve. Additionally, although Carrie can carry two kids in the front, we are more inclined to recommend taking only one - the Flex Box is relatively compact and smaller than we would like.
Therefore, if you have only one small child and don't have a plan to have a larger family, Carrie might be a good fit, but there is nothing better than coming for a test ride. For bigger families, we have the Load and the Packster.
