MEET THE CLASSIC

A timeless balance bike crafted from 100% grade A, sustainably sourced birch for strength, durability and beauty. WBP glue protects it from moisture and mould, while our patented two-step steering system supports safe skill progression. With aluminium rims, smooth bearings, wide tyres and premium touches like hardened brass and embroidered vegan leather, it’s built to ride beautifully and be treasured for years.

The Classic is made from 100% grade A, sustainably sourced Northern European birch – no fillers, no fake layers. Its excellent strength-to-weight ratio keeps the bike light and stable for little riders, with a smooth, knot-free, splinter-resistant finish that looks as good as it rides.

Weather proof, boil proof.

We bond the Classic with WBP (Weather & Boil Proof) glue, so rain, humidity and temperature swings don’t quietly destroy the wood. It helps keep water, fungus and mould at bay, meaning that even if the bike occasionally gets left outside, it’s built to keep going, not fall apart.

Two-step steering system

In Step 1, steering is gently restricted to stop beginners oversteering and losing confidence; once they’re ready, you unlock full steering for free, adventurous riding. Simple, clever, and perfectly paced for their progression.

Useful, beautiful, durable details

Every feature on the Classic is built to last and look good doing it. The flame graphic is heat-branded so it won’t peel, the vegan leather saddle is embroidered instead of printed so it won’t fade or flake, and hardened brass hardware adds a rich patina and extra durability over regular brass.

Roll model

The Classic runs market-leading aluminium rims and hubs with high-grade sealed bearings to keep weight and rolling resistance low. That lets us fit grippy, confidence-boosting tyres for real safety and performance, without making the bike feel heavy.

Tread carefully

And confidently. The Classic pairs a fast-rolling 14" x 1.75" front tyre with a super chunky 12.5" x 3" rear, giving 2–4 year olds extra stability, cushioning and grip on mixed terrain, even in the rain. There’s no such thing as bad weather – only the wrong bike.
