OUR OPINION

The auto-caravan replacement

The new Tern Orox is the beast of all cargo bikes. If we call the GSD the car replacement, the Orox should be the auto-caravan replacement. It’s Tern’s first cargo bike with a wheel bigger than the 20” while offering the same quality accessories that Tern is famous for. 

It’s not a cargo bike designed for cities like Porto, where we ride mainly on cycle lanes or roads. Orox is intended to be ridden across all terrains and all-weather situations. Think about snow, mud, mountain adventures, and camping. Besides the size, which can be pretty impressive, and the fact that it doesn’t come with front suspension - because there is no front suspension in the market that can handle the weight that Orox can carry, it’s a fantastic bike for those adventurous families. We think it will be quite popular in camping sites, and we might see it in Porto for quite a few passing by on cross-country adventures.
