OUR OPINION
Find a spot anywhere
The first model of the Tinker we put our hands on was a model from 2019 - our little orange, as we call it. It was our first electric bike and one of our fleet's most heavily-ridden bikes. Our staff used it daily to come to work, finding her very agile, light, and small - although very nervous, as we would say.
The Tinker 2 brings the same nervous riding experience as the predecessor but with two significant improvements. It comes with the new generation of motors from Bosch - the smart system, a 525Wh battery, and a better seat post suspension than the previous one.
It can be tricky to navigate through cobblestone areas due to her agility, although it handles pretty well.
This model is ideal for those who want a lighter and smaller bike to take on trains to work, up a staircase, or through a small elevator. It provides "more of a bike" than most of the foldable options out there, with the quality of the components and the feeling you get while riding it.
