Stronger Bosch power
Nevo5 steps up to the latest Bosch Smart System motor, delivering up to 100 Nm of torque for effortless climbing and fast starts in traffic. Compared to the previous Nevo, you get more power, smoother support and smarter control – perfect for hilly cities and loaded touring.
New Pinion motor–gearbox option
For riders who want maximum simplicity, Nevo5 adds a Pinion motor-gearbox unit with belt drive. The motor and gears are fully enclosed, giving super-smooth shifting, very low maintenance and a clean drivetrain that stays quiet and oil-free for years.
Bigger, fully integrated battery
Nevo5 brings a new level of range and integration with a fully integrated PowerTube battery, up to 750 Wh. It sits hidden in the frame for a sleeker look and lower centre of gravity, while giving noticeably more real-world range than the previous Nevo generation.
Stiffer frame, lower step-through
The updated Nevo5 frame is stiffer and even easier to step through, making everyday riding more comfortable and confidence-inspiring. You feel the difference when loading panniers, stopping often in the city or riding with extra weight – the bike stays stable, solid and easy to handle.
Cleaner cockpit, more premium details

Battery Upgrade Options
The Riese & Müller Nevo can be configured with more battery capacity for extra range and flexibility. The Automatic, Touring and Vario variants can be upgraded to an 800 Wh battery or an 800 Wh battery + Bosch PowerMore 250 Wh Range Extender. The Rohloff, Rohloff HS, Vario HS and Touring HS variants come with the 800 Wh setup and can be upgraded with the 250 Wh Range Extender, adding up to roughly 50 km of extra range without stopping to charge.

OUR OPINION
Sportily through everyday life
The Nevo5 is now our urban e-bike of choice for everything from quick errands to long, hilly rides. It keeps the ultra-low step-through and relaxed position we loved on the Nevo4, but adds a completely new, stiffer frame with revised geometry, Bosch Performance Line CX/PX motors with up to 100 Nm of torque and 600–800 Wh batteries, plus the option of a Pinion motor-gearbox with belt drive for almost zero-maintenance riding.
We still see it as an all-terrain “SUV” that mixes elegance and practicality: perfect for commuting, everyday city life and touring. The open frame keeps getting on and off easy in traffic, while the upgraded suspension and damping headset make it even more stable on descents, tight bends or with loaded racks. As we have kept track of the evolution of this model through the years, the Nevo5 feels like the most refined and versatile generation yet, with tidier integration and the latest Bosch smart system across the range.
