The big differences are in the gearing, drive type and maximum speed:

Touring
Sporty derailleur version with a Shimano Linkglide XT 11-speed and chain drive.

• Most efficient and lightest feeling on climbs

• Best choice if you like a more “classic” bike feel and don’t mind shifting

Vario
Comfort / low-maintenance option with Enviolo continuously variable hub and Gates carbon belt.

• Twist the grip to smoothly choose any ratio (no fixed steps)

• Can change “gear” while stopped at lights

• Very quiet and almost maintenance-free

  Automatic
  Same Enviolo hub and belt as the Vario, but with Enviolo Automatiq.

    Top-end touring spec with Rohloff E-14 electronic 14-speed hub and belt drive.

    Pinion / Pinion HS
    New on the Nevo5: the Pinion E1.12 motor-gearbox unit with 12 internal gears and belt drive.
