Meet The Lite
A marine-grade Super Ply wooden balance bike that proves wood can be innovative, durable and seriously fun. Rot- and warp-resistant, it features a two-step steering system for safe skill progression, heat-branded details, a vegan leather saddle and hardened brass bolts for lasting style. With lightweight aluminium rims and wide tyres, it gives 2–4 year olds a stable, comfy ride that’s built to inspire and endure.
Not all wooden bikes are built the same
The Lite uses marine-grade Super Ply, the same tough material used for boats and outdoor furniture, so it’s made to last beyond one child. It’s resistant to warping, shrinking, rot and decay, with a solid core that won’t hide weak spots – it may look like a simple wooden bike, but it’s engineered to be so much more.
Weather proof, boil proof
The Lite is bonded with WBP (Weather & Boil Proof) glue, so rain, humidity and temperature swings don’t quietly destroy the wood. It also resists fungus and mould, meaning that even if the bike occasionally gets left outside, it’s built to keep going, not give up.
Two-step steering system
First, steering is gently restricted so beginners don’t oversteer, fall and lose confidence. Once they’ve got the basics, you unlock full steering for freer, more adventurous riding. Simple, clever, and perfectly paced for their progress.
Useful, beautiful, durable details
On the Lite, every feature is built to last and serve a purpose. The flame graphic is heat-branded so it won’t peel, the vegan leather saddle is embroidered so it won’t fade or flake, and hardened brass hardware adds a rich patina and extra durability over regular brass. Useful, beautiful, durable – and made to stay that way
Roll model
The Lite runs market-leading aluminium rims and hubs with high-grade sealed bearings to keep weight and rolling resistance low. That lets us fit grippy, confidence-boosting tyres for safety and performance, without making the bike feel heavy.
Tread carefully
..and confidently. The Lite’s fast-rolling 1.75" tyres give 2–4 year olds the stability to learn, the cushioning to stay comfy and the grip to tackle mixed terrain, even in the rain. There’s no such thing as bad weather – only the wrong bike.
