How to Register your tern E-bike for extended Warranty
PROCESS
To register, please ensure the following criteria are met:
You are the original owner of the e-bike.
Ensure that your TERN e-bike is registered within 30 days of the purchase date.
The e-bike must be purchased through us, CICLO, an authorized TERN dealer.
Below is a step-by-step tutorial.
Access the Registration Portal
Go to the official Tern Care Warranty Registration Page.
You can access it here.
Fill Out the Registration Form
Enter your Service Tag Number.
An 8-character number that begins with T, and does not contain the I and O.
You can find it on your bike documentation.
Fill Out the Registration Form
Confirm that you have received the owner briefing;
Confirm that your bike was assembled by us.
Personal InformatioN
Tern account: We recommend selecting the “Create a Tern account” option for any future needs.
Personal Information: Add all the data required (email, name, adresss,…)
Type of Rider
This section will help TERN recommend the appropriate maintenance frequency for your e-bike.
However, your current usage might change over time. Therefore, we recommend consulting with us so we can provide you with a professional opinion tailored to your needs.
BIKE INFORMATION
Here, you’ll be asked to add a description of your e-bike so you can easily distinguish it from other TERN models you may own.
Next, you’ll need to enter your service tag and frame number (the frame number is stamped on the bike frame, usually close to the service tag, on the lower rear section of the seatpost). This information may be automatically filled in.
Select your TERN model and enter the battery key number(s).
All this information is included in the original documentation or user manual provided with the bike.
BIKE INFORMATION
Enter your date of purchase and upload a purchase receipt (such as a digital invoice, photo of the receipt, or order confirmation).
Finally, select CICLO | Urban Electric Bikes (Portugal) as your dealer!
Rider Resposibility
Check the boxes, and complete the process by clicking “FINISH”.

Once you sign up for Tern Care, you’ll have the following coverage:
Ten Years - Frame, Handlepost, Fork
One Year - All other original parts, including Tern or BioLogic branded parts and components, except where noted in the warranty information that came with your bicycle.

BATTERY
It is guaranteed that within the first two years of a Bosch battery's life, after 500 completed charge cycles, there will still be efficiency of at least 60%.
By doing some calculations, with a hypothetical 70km range per charge, 500 charge cycles would be equivalent to 35,000 kilometres. This implies that considering the two-year efficiency guarantee, one should be able to secure about 48 kilometres per day. Frankly, that's a substantial amount.
